What bold moves are you making?
We're *this* close to the long weekend.

Hey, founder fam!
I realize this newsletter is probably one of many things standing in between you and a three-day weekend, so I’m gonna keep this week’s edition short and sweet. I’m also mixing it up a bit this week since there’s something I’ve been dying to talk about:
I was catching up on one of my favorite personal finance podcasts this week—So Money with Farnoosh Torabi—and one of the guests was talking about everyday bold moves. A.K.A., the small but mighty things we do every day that are making an impact even if we don’t realize it yet.
My first thought was, “damn, I feel like I’m constantly making bold moves.” Whether I’m jumping on calls with founders, directly contacting VCs to express interest in working for their firm or even launching ~amazing~ newsletters.
In fact, since beginning my journey into Venture Capital, I feel like I’ve rarely gone more than a few weeks without doing something that pre-VC Jasmin likely wouldn’t have done—like attending 4+ networking events in the same week after work for deal flow, or actually posting on Twitter with the goal of growing a following.
And I’d say my moves are getting bolder and bolder every day.
It’s exciting because not only have these bold moves helped me grow as a professional, but they’re also little seeds I’ve planted that can wind up having a tremendous domino effect on my success down the line.
That’s when we really see the power of those everyday bold moves.
So if you aren’t too busy hitting up Memorial Day sales and sprinting through some work on your startup, think about some of the bold moves you’ve been making recently and use that as fuel for moving forward. Maybe your bold move was actually starting your company. Or perhaps you cold emailed an investor you’ve really been wanting to get in touch with.
Regardless, I’m rooting for you and I’m so hyped to see what you do next!
I’ll be back with your regularly scheduled media advice posts next week (with an extra special edition featuring a guest!).
